Updates

Blog Launched

  • • New /blog section, with the open beta announcement as its first post
  • • Posts are markdown files in content/blog/ and carry inline product video and screenshots
  • • Blog added to the main nav and the footer, with an RSS feed at /blog/rss.xml
  • • The beta chip on the homepage is now a link to the announcement post
  • • Posts report video engagement, read depth, and which call to action was clicked

Site Password Removed

  • • Every page now opens without the pre-launch site password, not just the pages under /legal
  • • Search engines render the site the way a visitor sees it, so the pages already listed in the sitemap can be indexed

Program Catalog Switched Off

  • • The program catalog at /coverage is off for the beta: it listed sample programs and figures rather than the coverage the Gateway actually returns
  • • The two links that pointed at it, in the homepage equipment section and the site footer, are gone with it
  • • The /coverage URL now returns a 404. The page comes back, links and all, once real program data backs it

Legal Pages Are Publicly Readable

  • • Pages under /legal now open without the pre-launch site password
  • • The partner sign-up consent checkbox links to the partner Terms of Service, so that document has to be readable before someone has an account
  • • Every other page stays behind the password until launch

Hero Headline

  • • Restored the previous hero headline, "Use incentives to power your sales."
  • • The social preview card and meta description follow the same wording, so the page and its link previews stay in step

Marketing Review — Content, Clarity & Site Chrome

  • • Added a How It Works page walking through the five stages from lookup to recurring revenue
  • • Added an FAQ page covering incentives, VPPs, getting started, and pricing, with search-friendly structured data
  • • Both added to the main nav alongside Pricing and Docs
  • • Added a real site footer — link columns, legal links, and an auto-updating Leapfrog Power, Inc. copyright
  • • Rewrote the hero, section and closing-CTA copy for clarity and keywords; hero steps became value bullets
  • • The hero now fills exactly the first screen at any window height, so the page loads as a single clean black view rather than a black-and-purple split
  • • Lifted the hero product shot's contrast so it no longer reads as black-on-black, and made it hold its proportions at narrower widths instead of squashing
  • • Fluid hero headline and column widths, replacing a hard jump at 1000px
  • • Made every primary CTA say "Get Started" and point at partner sign-up
  • • Pricing: every tier now shows the same four figures — included lookups, included applications, and the overage rate for each — in a uniform table, so the plans can be compared straight down a column
  • • Made the 1,000-free-lookups offer prominent, and explained the application-filing and VPP rates in plain language
  • • Coverage, Changelog and the partner Terms of Service now use the same nav and footer as the rest of the site
  • • Terms of Service links point at our own terms page, which updates in place as the document moves from draft to effective
  • • Added Open Graph/Twitter metadata, a generated social card, robots.txt, and a sitemap
  • • Fixed the favicon disappearing in dark mode, and matched the Apple touch icon to it
  • • Added Google Analytics, active once a measurement ID is configured

Launch Polish — Links, Copy & Homepage Fixes

  • • Wired the Docs links (nav, footer, and "Read Docs" CTAs) to the published docs site, opening in a new tab
  • • Pointed "Log In" to the partner portal and gave the footer links real destinations, plus a link back to leap.energy
  • • Fixed the "Browse the full catalog" link that jumped to the top of the page
  • • Restyled the Rebate · Utility · VPP coverage-tier labels so they no longer look clickable
  • • Removed references to carbon incentives from the homepage
  • • Reworded the "Always fresh" automatic-updates description for clarity

New Design Direction — Combination of Ideas

  • • Added a new brand direction, "Combination of ideas", to the /design gallery
  • • Dark, centered-hero homepage merging the process, a pre-loaded product mockup, device coverage, portal showcase, a partner quote and headline stats on one scrollable page
  • • Added it to the design-direction switcher and gallery index

Accessibility & Performance Audit

  • • Added prefers-reduced-motion support to respect user accessibility preferences
  • • Enabled Next.js image optimization for better performance and WebP conversion
  • • Added skip-to-content link for keyboard navigation
  • • Improved form accessibility with proper labels and focus states
  • • Added keyboard navigation to interactive diagram elements
  • • Added ARIA attributes to decorative elements and navigation
  • • Optimized scroll and animation performance

New Hero & Storyboard

  • • New stacked layers hero visual showing incentive stacking by device type
  • • Integrated "Stack every incentive. One API." messaging with rotating headline
  • • Added Partner Journey Storyboard page illustrating the integration flow
  • • Added Storyboard to navigation

Initial Preview

  • • Homepage with animated hero and incentive calculator
  • • Pricing page with Free, Starter, Business, and Enterprise tiers
  • • Coverage page with searchable program database (sample data)
  • • How It Works page with animated process walkthrough
  • • Capability cards explaining core Gateway features

Planned Updates

  • • Real program data from Gateway API
  • • Documentation site integration
  • • Customer testimonials and case studies
  • • Interactive API explorer

Notes for Reviewers

This site is being developed as the marketing presence for Leap's Incentives Gateway product. The goal is to communicate the value proposition to potential partners: device OEMs, retailers, installers, and software platforms selling distributed energy resources.

The homepage product mockup demonstrates the aggregation concept with a rebate, an OEM incentive, and a VPP enrollment on one screen. Its programs and dollar amounts are samples, and real figures replace them before launch.
